Andy Richards, b. 1966, is a Program Manager for Duncan Aviation Inc. in Battle Creek Michigan. Andy has been with Duncan Aviation since 1997 and has held various positions in that time. Andy currently oversees a program that completes business jet interiors and exteriors for the ‘flagship aircraft’ of a French Aircraft manufacturer.
Andy is active in the Anglers as a member of the Habitat Restoration and Environment (HRE) Committee. Andy has taken a particular interest in collecting data on the Au Sable river in an effort to target habitat restoration opportunities. He believes that we must use our limited resources in focused areas of the river to maximize our impact as a conservation organization. Andy is currently active in the HRE’s temperature monitoring and fish shocking survey initiatives. He has begun working closely with the DNR to coordinate these activities.
Andy travels to the Au Sable and throughout northern Michigan as much as possible to fish and to camp with his family. Andy and his wife enjoy raising their two daughters and their black labrador retriever.
