David is a resident of Bloomfield Hills. He is Managing Principal of Covington Partners Holdings, a private equity investment firm. David is a graduate of Miami University.
Far more importantly, David is an avid fly fisherman and bird hunter. He began fly fishing as a 9-year-old tagging along with his father. His first experiences with the Au Sable watershed revolved around camping on Shupac Lake and fishing the blue wing olive hatches below Gates Lodge in the late 70’s. Now David spends time on the North Branch near the family cabin and steelheading on the PM. He is a sub-standard wing shot, but he loves pursuing grouse and ducks with the family’s English setter and black Lab.
Most importantly, David is married to Beth, his college sweetheart, and they have two married, grown children: Ashleigh who lives in Boston; and, Chad who lives in Cleveland.
